The purpose of academic reserves at the Santa Fe Community College Library is to provide access to support teaching, learning, and the curriculum by providing access for all students to classroom materials. The Library does not carry all course texts. It is the responsibility of the teaching faculty member to provide the Library with a copy - typically referred to as a "desk copy" - to place on Reserve.
Scanning and Photocopying
The Library has both a Scanner and Photocopier.

The Santa Fe Community College Library follows the Fair Use section (107) of the Copyright Act of 1976 that recognizes the needs of students to use copyrighted materials for educational purposes.
The Library reserves the right to refuse to put any materials on reserve if, in the judgment of the Library, doing so would be a violation of federal copyright law.
