PrepSTEP Guide (formerly Learning Express): Introduction

Learn how to use the Library's test-preparation platform, PrepSTEP!

About PrepSTEP

Test prep material in print goes out of date quickly and doesn't always help you prepare for the testing experience.
With PrepSTEP, you can prepare for many of the standardized tests you may be required to take and practice taking them in a digital environment.

Use ebooks and flash cards to study or try any of the test-taking modes:

  • Learner Mode lets you see the right answers as you go along, with detailed explanations of what's right and why,
  • Practice Mode allows you to test your knowledge without a strict time limit, or
  • Simulation Mode mimics the timed test-taking environment, so you'll feel more comfortable when you take the real exam.

PrepSTEP is packed with powerful resources for self-guided skill building and supplemental developmental materials, as well as vital tools for career preparation and workforce readiness.
