There are many ways you can Search Project Gutenberg. You can:

Search HathiTrust!

"HathiTrust Digital Library is a digital preservation repository and highly functional access platform. It provides long-term preservation and access services for public domain and in copyright content from a variety of sources, including Google, the Internet Archive, Microsoft, and in-house partner institution initiatives." - HathiTrust.org

Open Library provides access to 1.7 million scanned versions of books. But you need to Create a free Open Library Account first. 

Once you have created an account, you can then Search Open Library.
