Family Study Room Policy
- The family study room is available to current SFCC students when their children are with them.
- This room is not a child-care service. Do not leave your children unattended. Children must be accompanied and supervised by parents/guardians at all times, including monitoring children’s safety and behavior.
- Library staff are not responsible for children. If a child is left unaccompanied, SFCC Security will be called.
- Users must check in at the SFCC Library circulation desk prior to using the space.
- The door to the room must remain open while it is occupied.
- Please respect all items in the room as well as other occupants. The room should be left clean and orderly after use.
- We do not expect the room to be quiet, but please be aware the room is not soundproof.
- Please do not leave any personal items in the room. Personal items left in the room will be given to SFCC security.
- Library resources are not censored. Caregivers are responsible for monitoring what their children access, using online and print materials.
- Children’s books in the study room are available for checkout by SFCC students. Books may be taken to the Library’s circulation desk for checkout.
